M1 Carbine Inland 4 digit 2787

M1 Carbine manufactured by the Inland Division of General Motors. This carbine has a 7-42 Inland barrel that gauges a 1+ at the muzzle. This carbine does not have any Bavarian stamps or inscriptions. Standard (non-springtube) receiver.

Stock is an oval cut high wood, with an LWB stamp in the sling cut. There is a very nice boxed GHD/UEF cartouche with ordinance wheel on the right side. RA-P is stamped on the base of the pistol grip. No other stamps or cartouches are visible. Handguard is a 2 rivet LWB. Type 3 D in Diamond band, DI recoil plate.

Inland no bevel trigger housing, R.I.a trigger, unmarked extra hole sear with step, I-I straight hammer, H.T. flip safety, unmarked M2 magazine catch. PI type 3 slide, S’G’ flat bolt.

H.I. milled adjustable rear sight, unmarked stamped front sight.
