Krag-Jorgenson 1899 Cavalry Carbine 347688

Very nice Springfield Armory 1899 Cavalry Carbine. This carbine has a good finish with minimal wear, and the bore is bright with some moderate pitting.  This carbine may have been through a rebuild, and has a standard rifle cocking piece. Stock is in very nice shape with a 1901 cartouche on the left side, fancy P firing proof and the number 70 stamped behind the trigger guard. Correct carbine handguard and front sight.

This is a nice example of a Krag-Jorgenson cavalry carbine, one many collections are missing. Please see all pictures for details before bidding.
