October 1942 M1 Garand Barreled Receiver 992500
M1 Garand barreled receiver manufactured in October of 1942. This receiver and barrel are in very nice condition with the 10-42 barrel gauging TE=3 M=1+ with a good bore. Lead dipped heel, no chrome on barrel pad.
Chamber mouth has a small dent at the 5:30 position, however it does not affect function. Receiver and barrel have a very nice green parkerized finish, however, they may have been refinished, since the breech end of the barrel is parked.
This barreled receiver would be a good candidate for restoration, and would make a nice addition to any collection. Please see all pictures for details before bidding.
