M1A1 Paratrooper Carbine Inland 5206458

Inland M1A1 Paratrooper Carbine Paratrooper with folding stock. This carbine is a very nice service grade with the Inland 5-44 barrel gauging 1 at the muzzle with a mirror bore. Standard receiver. (Non-spring tube)

The stock is a very nice low wood pattern. Ordinance wheel on base of pistol grip has been worn off by the wire stock. There is a small crack in the right side of the stock under the rear sight. Stock mechanism locks firmly in the open position, with very little wobble. Leather shows some wear, and may have been replaced. Brass rivets. HI 2 rivet handguard. MMQ type 3 barrel band.

 Inland no bevel trigger housing, F.I. trigger, R.I. sear without extra hole, HI straight hammer, plain push safety, E.I. magazine catch. PI type 5 slide with 7160091 PN, IO parkerized round bolt.

Rear sight is an I.R.Co. stamped adjustable w/o part number. Front sight is N milled.
