DESCRIPTION

M1 Garand Barreled Receiver 6097216

M1 Garand barreled receiver. Serial number 6097216 which was manufactured in mid 1956. 6-56 SA barrel which is probably original to the receiver, TE=3 M=0+. Barrel has a good bit of pitting on the muzzle with some inside the muzzle end of the barrel.

Receiver has a good bit of finish wear, but no pitting. Dark spots on underside of receiver are grease/Cosmoline.
