USMC 10X Unertl Sniper Telescope 1656 Needs Repair
US Marine Corps Issue 10x Unertl Sniper Telescope. Serial number 1656. This has several issues that would have to be addressed before it is used. The occular lense is very cloudy and loose, and the reticle has serious flaking and none of the mil dots are intact. Scope includes rings appropriate for an M40A3, with the SIMRAD bracket.
The Civilian Marksmanship Program has acquired a small quantity of these telescopes. These are very rarely seen on the civilian market, as USMC marked Unertl scopes were never sold directly to the public. This scope would make an excellent addition to any collection. Scope will ship in a CMP hard rifle case. Please see all pictures for details before bidding.
