Springfield Armory M1 Rifle 5856292 Unissued
M1 Garand manufactured by Springfield Armory. This rifle is unissued since being manufactured, with the original foil VCI wrap still on the front sight/gas cylinder. Also has VCI straw in the bore. Stock has a ½” DOD stamp and serif firing proof. Entire rifle has some remnants of VCI, and may appear as a white or yellowish discoloration in the pictures. All metal is very dry.
Rifle was not disassembled for pictures or parts identification, but since it is unissued, all parts are original and correct. SA 4-55 barrel.
This is a rare chance to own an unissued SA M1 Garand, and this rifle would make a great addition to any collection. Please see all pictures for details before bidding.
