M1 Garand International Harvester Corp 4453734 Correct Grade 

M1 Garand manufactured by the International Harvester Corporation. Rifle is in very good condition, and appears to retain all of its original parts. TE=3, M1+ with a mirror bore. Receiver is an IHC/IHC postage stamp. 

 Barrel side markings are:

LMR D6535448 4 53 A10

Gas cylinder, gas cylinder lock and front sight are all IHC and have matching finish. Gas cylinder lock screw is NHC IHC Operating rod is a 6535382IHC, bolt is 6528287 IHC U. Bullet guide is IHC with star swage on accelerator tab, all other small parts are typical early IHC without heat codes.

Trigger housing is IHC D6528290, hammer is IHC C5546008. Hammer spring plunger has no guide wings with rounded sides. IHC safety.

Rear sight is a typical T105E1 type. Elevation pinion is IHC Weatherhead,  windage knob is DRC IHC.

Stock and handguards are IHC, the stock has 1454 in the barrel channel and a ½” DAS on the left side under the rear sight. San Serif P firing proof centered in the pistol grip. This stock does not have the cheek cut repairs around the buttplate that are often seen on IHC stocks.

This is a very nice example of an early International Harvester US Rifle Caliber .30 M1 and would be a great addition to any collection. Please see all pictures for details before bidding.
