HRA M1 Garand 4660060
M1 Rifle manufactured by Harrington & Richardson Arms. This rifle is serial number 4660060, making it the 60th M1 manufactured by HRA. This rifle went through a rebuild at Letterkenny Army Depot in June of 1966, and is not original as manufactured.
HRA U.W. bolt with a 751 heat lot, modified -6 SA op rod, 6528290-HRA H trigger housing with Hart guard and -9 SA hammer with HRA safety. SA 11 follower, all other small parts are late SA. T105E1 rear sight with DRC windage knob and WCE pinion.
HRA 5-53 barrel with markings of the style typically found on HRA replacement contract barrels. TE 3 M2+.
Handguards and stock appear to be Overton walnut replacements. Plain p proof mark and Letterkenny triangle on pistol grip.
This is a rare chance to own a very early HRA, and would be an excellent addition to any collection. Please see all pictures for details before bidding.
