Greek Brushes removed from M1 Stocks 38 pieces
These were donated back to the CMP by the original purchaser, so if you missed out the first time, here is your chance.
Up for auction is a collection of various brushes removed from the buttstock trap of Greek return M1s. Total of 38 brushes. Most are foreign manufacture, some US brands as well. These were collected by one of CMP’s veteran armorers who saved them as he found them.
All brushes are salvage, rack or field grade, no service, collector or correct grade brushes. It is unknown if any were sniper brushes, but as is often recommended you should buy the brush and not the story. Brushes were not gauged due to a lack of gauges.
This would make an interesting addition to an M1 collection. Note that since these brushes were used for rifle maintenance, using them for personal hygiene is not recommended.
It is unknown if any correct or collector grade brushes will ever become available, however, a current production brush available from many sources would fill the niche in your collection until such time that high grade brushes may become available.
Please see all pictures for details before bidding.
