Winchester Model 70 Post-64 766272 Incomplete
Winchester Model 70 chambered in .300 Winchester Magnum. Serial number 766272 makes this a 1965 production rifle. This rifle is incomplete and is being sold as-is as a barreled receiver in a non-firing condition.
This barreled receiver is missing the floorplate, center and front bedding screws, safety and associated parts, and all stock and magazine parts. At one point, this rifle had a dovetail block attached to the barrel which is no longer present.
Also, this rifle was not checked for headspace due to a lack of .300 WM headspace gauges. This rifle will need the attention of a competent gunsmith before being used.
