M1 Carbine Underwood 4030508
Carbine has a .U. marked front sight on a 5-43 dated Underwood barrel with an ME of 1 and a JM marked type III band. The receiver is set in an oval cut high wood stock with JW250 stamped near the oiler slot, with an unmarked 2 rivet handguard. It has an underscored M marked magazine release and an N. marked rotary safety in an M marked W trigger guard, with an HI hammer and an unknown sear. It comes with an I.R.CO stamped adjustable rear sight.
