M1 Carbine Underwood 2881800
Carbine has an N and S marked front sight on a 1-44 dated Underwood barrel with an ME of 1+ and an unmarked type I band. The receiver is set in a (what looks to be) Bavarian Beech replacement stock, with a matching 2 rivet handguard, and an unknown recoil plate. It has a PR-B magazine catch and a SS in circle marked rotary safety in a N over 16 marked trigger housing with LGKST stampings, with a hammer stamped HI, and unknown sear. It comes with a PI milled adjustable rear sight and is marked Bavaria Forestry Police - U.
