M1 Garand SA-52 Plugged M1C 3692399
M1 Garand manufactured by Springfield Armory. This rifle started life as an M1C sniper rifle, but was converted back to standard M1 configuration during a 1952 Springfield Armory rebuild, and was then rebuilt again at Springfield Armory in January of 1965. This rifle features a 3-53 SA barrel, TE3+ M1.
Stock is a birch rebuild stock with a ½” DAS with serif proof. Handguards appear to be SA that have been sanded during rebuild.
HRA gas cylinder with WW2 low hump lock and P ∆ lock screw.
Bolt is an 6528287 HRA ·U· All small parts appear to be post war SA.
T105E1 rear sight with DRC windage knob and HRA pinion.
6528290 SA trigger group with SA-2 hammer and HRA safety.
