M1 Carbine Inland 6298591
Carbine has an N marked front sight on a 9-44 Inland barrel with an ME of 1+ and a PI in triangle marked type II band. The receiver is set in a low wood oval cut IO stock with crossed cannon cartouche, with a IO marked 4 rivet handguard, and a W recoil plate. It has an EI magazine catch and a SS in circle rotary safety in an Inland marked trigger housing with LGKST markings, with a HI straight hammer and unknown sear. It comes with an IRCO stamped adjustable rear sight. Major components, with exception of the handguard, are marked with 8591, and receiver is marked Bavaria Rural Police.
