Smith-Corona M03-A3
In September 1943, Smith Corona made a serializing error on several thousand rifles. The 2nd and 3rd digits were transposed. The result was that several thousand rifles with unusually high serial numbers. This rifle is one of those. This rifle was overhauled and restocked at Springfield Armory in 1944 and exhibits an S.A./GAW inspection Stamp. The rifle has its original SC/8-43 barrel, but the remaining parts are mixed. It has good head spacing and S-Stock.
