M1 Garand International Harvester Corp 5200081 Correct Grade

M1 Garand manufactured by the International Harvester Corporation. Rifle is in very good condition, and appears to retain all of its original parts. Service grade barrel with the throat gauging 2+ and the muzzle 1+. Mirror bore. Receiver is an SA/IHC Gap Letter.  

 Barrel side markings are:  

LMR D6535448 4 55 A42 

Gas cylinder and gas cylinder lock are IHC and have matching finish. Gas cylinder lock screw is NHC IHC. Operating rod is a 6535382 IHC, bolt is 6528287 IHC with an G25 heat lot. All small parts are IHC, F clip latch, B op rod catch and G follower letter codes. Bullet guide is IHC with star swage on accelerator tab. 

Trigger housing is 6528290 IHC, hammer is IHC C5546008. Hammer spring plunger has no guide wings with rounded sides. IHC safety. Floorplate has a label with range settings.

Rear sight is a typical T105E1 type. Elevation pinion is IHC, windage knob is DRC IHC.

Stock and handguards are IHC, the stock has 1185 in the barrel channel and ½” DAS. San Serif P firing proof centered in the pistol grip.

This is a very nice example of an International Harvester US Rifle Caliber .30 M1 and would be a great addition to any collection. Please see all pictures for details before bidding.
