M1 Carbine Field Grade Saginaw S’G’ 3246123

Carbine has an unmarked front sight on a 6-43 dated Underwood barrel with an ME of 0+ and a UN marked type I band. The receiver is set in a low wood oval cut stock with indistinguishable manufacturer’s markings but a large crossed cannons cartouche on the right cheek, with an IO 4 rivet handguard, and Rock-Ola recoil plate. It has an M2 magazine catch and a M in C rotary safety in a .U. trigger housing, with a .U. straight hammer and unknown sear, all kept by a Rock-Ola type IV slide. It comes with a H in shield stamped adjustable rear sight. Receiver is marked Bavaria Rural Police.
