M1 Carbine Field Grade Saginaw S’G’ 1865853

Carbine is technically marked Saginaw S’ because the stamp was offset. Carbine has an N marked front sight on a 9-43 dated Underwood barrel with an ME of 1 and a KV-SG marked type I band. The receiver is set in a high wood oval cut RSG stock with crisp S’G’ cartouche and small crossed cannons, with an RSG 2 rivet handguard, and unknown recoil plate. It has an AU magazine catch and a SS in circle rotary safety in a W trigger housing, with an S’G’ dogleg hammer and SW sear, all kept by a W 168 type II slide. It comes with a H in shield stamped adjustable rear sight. Receiver is marked with Bavaria Forestry Police - O
