USMC 10X Unertl Sniper Telescope 1680
US Marine Corps Issue 10x Unertl Sniper Telescope. Serial number 1680. This scope has a factory black finish though areas still show the scope wore a paint cover at one time, and does not seem to have seen hard use. All adjustment knobs appear to function correctly and the optics are clear. The scope does come with rings, however no manufacturer’s markings are clear, and comes with a replacement front top half ring. Does have the USO elevation modification to convert it from the .30 cal factory ballistics to .50 cal.
The Civilian Marksmanship Program has acquired a small quantity of these telescopes. These are very rarely seen on the civilian market, as USMC marked Unertl scopes were never sold directly to the public. This scope would make an excellent addition to any collection. Scope will ship in a CMP hard rifle case. Please see all pictures for details before bidding.
