M1 Carbine Service Grade National Postal Meter 1962323
Carbine has an N marked front sight on a 9-43 dated Underwood barrel with an ME of 1+ and an unmarked type I band with Q TK sling swivel. The receiver is set in a high wood oval cut W stock with a clear W.R.A over G.H.D cartouche and small crossed cannons, with an IO 2 rivet handguard, and unknown recoil plate. It has an M2 magazine catch and a C in M rotary safety in a W trigger housing, with an I-I straight hammer and R.I. sear, all kept by an SG marked type III slide. It comes with an I.R.CO. 7160060 stamped adjustable rear sight.
