M1 Carbine Field Grade National Postal Meter 1972003
Carbine has an unmarked front sight on a 9-43 dated Underwood barrel with an ME of 2+ and a J.M.Q. marked type III band. The receiver is set in a low wood oval cut W potbelly stock, with a LW-B 2 rivet handguard, and unknown recoil plate. It has an M2 magazine catch and a M in C rotary safety in an Inland trigger housing, with a SW straight hammer and RI sear, all kept by a W type IV slide. It comes with an I.R.CO. 7160060 stamped adjustable rear sight.
