M1 Carbine Service Grade National Postal Meter 1455278
Carbine has a .U. marked front sight on a 7-42 dated Inland barrel with an ME of 1+ and a W marked type III band. The receiver is set in a low wood oval cut Trimble TN stock with an NPM over FJA cartouche and small crossed cannons, with an unknown 2 rivet handguard, and unknown recoil plate. It has a TSG magazine catch and a H.T. rotary safety in an Inland trigger housing, with an unknown straight hammer and SW-B sear, all kept by a N 15 type IV slide. It comes with a H in shield milled adjustable rear sight.
