This is a service grade SA M1 Garand Rifle 5528.
Muzzle Gauge: 1
Throat Gauge: 3+
Barrel: 3 SA 2 45
Bore is in good condition; not in the white.
Bolt: D28287-17SA B4A
Trigger group appears to be all SA.
Trigger Housing: 6528290-SA
Hammer: C46008-3 SA
Receiver: P/N D28291 O
Op-Rod: D 35382 3 SA
Markings: The stock has the proof marking and faintly visible DOD marking. The gas cylinder screw has "BS" stamped on it. The receiver has "LEAD 1-65" engraved into it.
The stock is a GI stock with some dings and scratches.
