This is a service grade M1 Garand rifle Arrowhead IHC 4440021.

This is a VERY early production IHC M1 Garand rifle.

The bore of this rifle is in fair condition with little rust; it is in the white.

The stock is a GI stock with some minor dings and scratches.

Markings: The bullet guide has a faint star marking; Stamped "IHC" and "NHC" on gas cylinder screw; DOD and proof markings on GI stock, as well as stamped "2952" in the channel; There are several letters and numbers stamped around the follower on the receiver.

Other Information: The follower rod is stamped flat; The front sight is flared; The clip latch is squared; There is a raised ring on the op-rod. There is also a gouge on the stock near the proof marking. There is a set of three parallel scratches on the receiver to the left of the serial number, maybe left over from when it was stamped.
