DESCRIPTION
This is a Remington Model 03-A3 MK5 Mod 1 drill rifle.
The barrel is an RA 4-43 barrel that has been plugged and welded.
The stock is a GI stock that has been lacquered and a plaque placed onto the side of it. The DOD and proof markings can be seen, along with a stamping of "3" and "FJA" and several stamps in front of the trigger guard.
A stamping of "R" can be found on the stacking swivel, underside of the bolt handle, side of the front sight, and the rear sling swivel.
All metal parts of this rifle have been chrome plated, with some minor flaking in a few spots.
The front sight blade of this rifle is missing and will not be included.
