This is a service grade Model 1917 rifle Eddystone 1169682.
This rifle seems to be mostly Eddystone parts. The barrel is an Eddystone barrel dated 9-18, and has a good bore with lttle to no rust. The muzzle gauge is a 0. The bomb proof marking can be found on the barrel and the receiver, and a double bomb marking can be found on top of the bolt handle along with a stamping of "N." Stampings of "E" can be found on both the front and rear sling swivels, the stacking swivel, the safety, the bolt, on the underside of the bolt handle, and the top of the sight base. There are also additional symbols on the trigger guard, buttplate, and safety. The stock is a GI stock with stamping of "24" and "2Y" on the underside of and "E" on the front of the stock. There is also a symbol on the underside, and this stock possesses some dings, scratches, and scrapes.
