This is a service grade Model 03-A4 rifle Remington 4992050.

The barrel of this rifle is an Remington barrel dated 12-43 and has the bomb and proof markings on it. The bore is in very good condition with little to no rust and is two-grooved. Both the muzzle and throat gauges are 1. It appears to me mostly Remington parts. A stamp of "R" can be found on the underside of the bolt handle, safety, switch, bolt, and front sling and stacking swivels. A stamp of "RP" is found on the rear sling swivel. The scope mount is stamped "REDFIELD," and a stamp of "8" within a circle can be found on the bolt. The wood of this rifle is GI with some dings, scratches, and scrapes; there is also a crack and medium sized indentations behind the lower band. The stock of this rifle possesses the DOD and proof markings and stamps of "1," "B," "RA," and "FJA" as well as additional ones in front of the trigger housing. This rifle does not come with a front sight or blade.
