This is a Long Branch Training Rifle 1944. The serial number is OL3589. The upper receiver is a little loose in the stock. This rifle was produced at the Long Branch Arsenal near Toronto, Canada in 1944. A total of 4,000 rifles were produced during 1943 and 1944. These rifles were patterned after the SMLE Service Rifle and used a SMLE bolt body.
