This is a KRAG M1899 Carbine. The serial number is 343632. The muzzle reads 1. Excellent bright bore. Very good unsanded wood with a few scratches, no dents, or cracks. Sharp USA Cartouche dated 1901. Strong ornate P firing proof. Model 1901 Type1 carbine rearsight with "C" marking. Handguard without sight protection hump. 1899 carbine headless cocking piece. Metal finish turning brown, almost no pitting.
