M1 Carbine Service Grade National Postal Meter 4291152
Carbine has a .U. marked front sight on a 11-1943 dated Buffalo Arms barrel with an ME of 2 and an SI marked type III band. The receiver is set in a high wood oval cut Q-RMC stock with a small crossed cannons, with a Z 2 rivet handguard, and unknown recoil plate. It has a HI magazine catch and an N. rotary safety in an BE-B trigger housing, with a W. straight hammer and RI sear, all kept by a W 168 type II slide. It comes with a J.A.O. stamped adjustable rear sight.
