This is a Model 03-A3 rifle Smith-Corona with S-stock 3620467.
This rifle was the 12,468th Smith-Corona rifle produced. It has an original six-grooved Smith-Corona barrel with dark bore dated 12-42. The muzzle gauge is a 2, and the throat gauge is a 5. This rifle has all correct Smith-Corona parts, including early blued trigger guard. The receiver of this rifle still retains approximately 70% of the original finish. The wood of this rifle is moderately worn GI wood with some imperfections.
