This is a service grade M1 Garand rifle SA 6085677.

The bore of this rifle is in good condition with little to no rust/pitting.
The breech of this rifle is not in the white.
The crown of this rifle is in okay condition.

Safety: IHC
Markings: An "A" is stamped on the receiver. Punch marks on bayonet lug, and front sight. Various proof marks on barrel. "40" taped on the stock, proof markings on the stock, and "57" is painted on the bottom of pistol grip. There are also some cast markings on the trigger.
The wood of this rifle is GI wood with some imperfections.
