This is a Model 03-A3 rifle Smith-Corona with S-stock 3635529.
This rifle has an original six-grooved Smith-Corona barrel dated SC 1-43 with the proof mark clearly visible. The muzzle gauge is a 1+, and the throat gauge is a 2+. The bore of this rifle is in okay condition with little rust/pitting. The crown of this rifle is in okay condition. It has a "2" and a punch mark on the underside of the bolt handle, "S" stamped on the bolt, and a "P" stamped on the under side of the barrel. The stock has an "FJA" cartouche, a proof marking stamped on the stock, and a "1" carved at the back of the stock near the buttplate. The wood of this rifle is moderately worn GI wood with some imperfections and a few lightly damaged areas.
