This is an un-issued, collector grade M1 Garand rifle HRA 5518415.
The bore of this rifle is in storage condition with some rust/pitting and dry preservative in the bore.
The crown of this rifle is in good condition.
Barrel: HRA 3535448 9-54 RS38
Bolt: 6528287 HRA •U•
Markings: DOD and proof making on stock. "O" "HRA" on gas cylinder screw.
The wood of this rifle is GI wood with few imperfections.
The metal and wood of this rifle are un-oiled, possessing only the dry preservative on it and in the bore. This rifle also includes the wrap that was originally found around the front sight and around the rear sight and trigger guard.
Due to the original factory wrap being still intact around the rear sight and trigger guard, we opted not to take the rifle apart to view drawing numbers. However, beacuse it is un-issued, the rifle should be correct.
