This is a Model 03-A4 rifle with C stock Remington 3426230.
The barrel of this rifle is an RA barrel dated 9-43, with the proof marking visibly stamped beneath it. The muzzle is a 1+ and the throat is 3+. The bore of this rifle is in okay condition with little to no rust/pitting and is a four-grooved barrel. Most of the parts appear to be Remington parts, as the bolt and handle, on/off switch, safety, stacking swivel and front sling swivel all possess stamings of "R." The stock possesses a proof marking, "AA" cartouche, and a "LL" on the bottom of the pistol grip. The wood of this rifle is replacement wood with some imperfections.
Other information: The rifle has all correct GI parts except for the scope rings. The scope rings are reproduction rings, split 7/8" as used in A4's for the M81, M82, and M84 scopes durring the time of service. The rings are an exact copy of the orginals and can be used in all vintage sniper matches.
