DESCRIPTION
This is a ceremonial Model 1903 rifle "S" Stock Remington 3004850.
This is a VFW/American Legion, chrome-plated ceremony rifle as received by the CMP. The rifle has early features, including an "RLB" stock and early large gas port bolt. All parts are early Remington except the bolt sleeve and firing pin assembly. A stamp of "U" can be found on the upper band. The barrel is not plugged with probable chrome plating on the bore itself. The wood of this rifle has some dings, scratches, scrapes, and/or gouges. The stock is also stamped "NZD 14750." This rifle headspaces well.
