This is a Remington Model 40-X Heavy Barrel Target Rifle. The serial number is 38968B. It fires the .30 cal. center fire round. The receiver is drilled adn tapped for scope bases. The bolt release is missing. The bolt matches the serial number. It is a clip-slot receiver. The adjustable buttplate is not included. Shiny bore, MW=1. Bright barrel and a 95% shiny blue finish on receiver.
