M1 Carbine Service Grade National Postal Meter 4081547
Carbine has a .U. marked front sight on a 9-43 dated Underwood barrel with an ME of 1+ and a J.M.Q. type III band. The receiver is set in a high wood oval cut BR-B stock, with an RMC 2 rivet handguard, and DI recoil plate. It has an M2 magazine catch and a M in C rotary safety in an Inland trigger housing, with an AM straight hammer and unknown sear, all kept by a PI marked type III slide. It comes with a J.A.O. 7160060 stamped adjustable rear sight.
