This is an Unmodified, Slant Cut WRA Op-Rod. This can be found on all but late Winchesters. The drawing number appears to be D35382-W.R.A. There is a punch mark on the top of the handle. There appears to be slight curvature where the Op-Rod would connect to the gas cylinder.
Sold as is.
