M1 Carbine Field Grade IBM 3889479 AO stamped receiver
Carbine has an N stamped front sight on an I.B.M. CORP. undated barrel with an ME of 2+ and a Type I barrel band. The receiver is set in a high wood, oval cut IO stock with a 2 rivet hand guard. Stock(in sling well) and handguard(underside) are both stamped 9479. Inland trigger housing is tamped LGK 00 0462 on the trigger guard, has a WU stamped straight hammer, an unmarked sear, an M WA magazine catch and an SS in circle( with an N over stamp on one side) rotary safety; and a DA-O stamped Type II slide. It has a milled adjustable, unmarked rear sight.
