M1 Carbine Service Grade Inland 8911
Carbine has an N stamped front sight on an Inland MFG DIV General Motors 7-42 barrel with an ME of 2. It has a Type III barrel band stamped JM. The trigger housing has a bomb on the flat(see photo); with a M magazine catch, a J.A.O. rotary safety, an AMB stamped straight hammer, and an unmarked hole in sear. The Type III slide is stamped PI on the inside and A on the bottom. The rifle has a PI stamped, milled rear adjustable sight. The high wood, I cut stock is stamped RMC B in the sling well. The 2 rivet hand guard is stamped IO.
