M1 Carbine Service Grade Underwood 4038078
Carbine has a P stamped front sight on an Underwood 8-43 barrel, with an ME of 1+. It has an SI stamped type III barrel band. Receiver is stamped with a bomb below the serial number. The unmarked trigger housing has an M stamped magazine catch, an M in a C rotary safety, a double stamped I.H. straight hammer, and an unmarked hole in sear. The type III slide is stamped N 15 on the inside. It has a stamped read adjustable sight marked: J.A.O. 160060. The low wood oval cut stock is marked IR in the sling well. The recoil lug is stamped SG. The 2 rivet hand guard is stamped HI.
