This is a Remington Model 1903 Rifle 3018947.
This item has a barrel dated R.A./12-41. The bore is dark and in poor condition. The TE gauges at 1 and the muzzle gauges at 1. This item has approximately 70 to 80% of the original finish remaining. This is a VFW/American Legion rifle and is 100% correct and original as received by The CMP. The rifle has all early Remington features including an "RLB" grasping-groove stock and early large gas bolt port. The stock has minor dings and scratches and is marked "NZD/81." Rifle headspae is okay.
