DESCRIPTION
This is an Remington Model 1903 Rifle 3002054.
This item has a barrel dated R.A./10-41. The bore is in poor condition and may be chrome plated. The TE gauges at 1 and the Muzzle gauges at 1. This item has approximately 80 to 90% of the chrome finish remaining. This is a VFW/American Legion chrome-plated ceremony rifle and is mostly correct and original as received by The CMP. The rifle has early Remington features including an "RLB" grasping groove stock and early large gas port bolt. All parts are original early Remington. Stock has minor dings and scratches and is marked "NZ/8695." Rifle headspace is okay.
