DESCRIPTION
Remington Model 1903 rifle s/n 3002400.
This early production Remington receiver has the original barrel dated 10-41. Bore appears to be excellent. The Throat gauges at 1 and the Muzzle gauges at 0+. Metal finish is thin, about 30% but original. Bolt is blued and probably original. Bolt root is stamped 2400. Firing pin assembly , except for safety is not Remington made. Trigger gaurd, stacking swivel, rear sight, follower, buttstock, buttplate and hand guard are not all Remington made. Buttstock is a WWII C stock made by Keystone. K stamped in magazine cut off relief cu. Stock is in very good condition. (ALL INFORMATION IS PER TAG).
