USMC 10x Unertl .50 Cal Sniper Telescope 1622.
US Marine Corps Issue 10x Unertl .50 cal Sniper Telescope serial number 1622. This scope is in good condition with signs of use. It has a greenish-grey with some tan paint over the original black finish. The optics are clear. Knobs have crisp movements. It DOES NOT have the USO modification. This scope does come with GGG mounts. The lower left side (looking through the lens) appears to be caved in. There are also marks/scratches on the lens.
The Civilian Marksmanship Program has acquired a small quantity of these telescopes. These are very rarely seen on the civilian market, as USMC marked Unertl scopes were never sold directly to the public. This scope would make an excellent addition to any collection. Scope will ship in a CMP hard rifle case.
