DESCRIPTION
M1905 Bayonet Union Fork and Hoe 16" Dated 1943
This bayonet is essentially the same as the Model of 1905 except for finish and grips. Some people refer to it as the M1942, but the designation was not official. Ordnance changed the systems of nomenclature to the M ssystem in the mid-1920s, and the Model of 1905 became the M1905 which was the nomenclatures used for all WW2 productions.
