DESCRIPTION
Utica Carbine M4 ll Bayonet w/ Scabbard USM8A1
Utica Cutlery Company. Utica, New York
Scabbard tip with grommet and metal tip. Produced in 1969 by TWB(The Working Blind) former know as PWH(Pennsylbania Working Home). PWH/TWB was the prime contractor during the earlier phase of the Vietnam war. PWH converted to TWB in 1969. All scabbards past 1960 were reinforced. The thong was previously leather but now past 1960 they are boot laces. The metals are normally parkerized which this one is and the grip consist of a stack of compressed leather washers, normally with six grooves for a better grip.

Utica manufactured around 515,000 bayonets.
