DESCRIPTION

Springfield Armory SERVICE GRADE

Model 1903

Serial Number 1253008

Highlights:

Barrel: SA, 1/23

The bore of this rifle is Bright with only minor pitting

Receiver: Very good condition, light wear

Markings & Other information: 1903 Service with Good 1923 Barrel

Very good military finish on metal parts. Barrel headspace is good on a Clymer NoGo, with only minor wear in a bright bore. T/E and Muzzle both gauge excellent. GI parkerization on the barrel is Very Good, and the breech is in the white. Good condition, Finger-Groove S stock with clean D.A.L. cartouche. Recoil block is intact and the stock has very few significant dents or scratches.
